What are veneers?
Veneers are thin layers of material – usually porcelain or composite – that are carefully placed over the front of your teeth to improve their appearance. They’re used to adjust the shape, size, and colour of teeth, and are often chosen by people who want a brighter, more even smile.
Here's what it can do for you
- Improving discolouration – Veneers can cover deep stains or discolouration that whitening can’t fix.
- Reshaping teeth – Great for teeth that are short, narrow, uneven or slightly rotated.
- Closing small gaps – A cosmetic way to close spaces between teeth for a more uniform smile.
- Smoothing chips and wear – Veneers can restore teeth that have worn down or chipped over time.
- Improve symmetry – Designed to suit your face and smile line, veneers create a more balanced overall look.

Thinking of getting veneers?
They are a long-lasting, natural-looking way to upgrade your smile with minimal fuss.

Porcelain veneers are highly durable and resist staining from coffee, wine, and everyday foods.

Composite veneers can be placed with minimal tooth preparation – often in just one visit.

You’ll see a big improvement in the overall brightness, symmetry and shape of your teeth.

Treatment is planned carefully to suit your features, not just a template.

What’s the process for getting veneers?
We start with a thorough smile consultation. You’ll tell us what you’d like to improve, and we’ll look closely at your teeth, bite, and facial symmetry. We take photos, digital scans, and (if needed) create a preview so you can see your potential smile before committing to treatment.
Composite veneers can often be placed in just one visit. We carefully layer and shape the composite material directly on your teeth, sculpting it to the ideal shape and finish before polishing it to a natural shine.
Porcelain veneers are done over two appointments. First, we gently prepare the surface of the teeth (if needed) and take detailed scans. These go to our trusted dental lab, where each veneer is hand-made to your specifications. At the second appointment, we fit and bond them in place.

FAQs
Questions we hear from real patients, answered by our team.
What’s the difference between porcelain and composite veneers?
Porcelain veneers are stronger, more stain-resistant and longer-lasting. Composite veneers are more affordable and often done in one visit, but may need maintenance sooner.
Do veneers damage my natural teeth?
We aim for minimal or no-prep where possible. Some shaping is often needed, but we’ll preserve as much natural tooth as we can.
How long do veneers last?
Porcelain veneers can last 10–15 years or longer with good care. Composite veneers typically last 5–7 years, depending on habits and maintenance.
Will they look natural or too “done”?
Our focus is always on subtle, well-balanced results that suit your face – not one-size-fits-all smiles.
Are veneers right for me if I grind my teeth?
It depends – we may recommend a night guard or alternative treatment. We’ll assess everything during your consultation and guide you honestly.
